Lorrie Kay Thomas founded Strategic Consulting, LLC in 2000 when she became aware of the need for Legal Nurse Consulting during litigation following a personal injury incident involving her being hit and injured by a fire truck.
She spent many hours clarifying her own physical condition and developed a strategy to successfully establish causation and damages in her own case. The medical facts were complex and challenging and Lorrieās knowledge and experience made her an excellent resource for the attorney. Before long she had the records organized and a strategy in place to rebut defense claims. The case prevailed without Lorrie knowing at that time it would be the first of many medical legal cases which she would become strategically involved in.
Alisa was pursuing her career of choice in video production at this time having graduated from SFSU with a degree in Broadcast and Electronics. Lorrie recognized her talent as well as her administrative skills and invited her to join her as a partner at Strategic Consulting, LLC. Alisa came onboard in 2005 and we expanded our services to include multimedia services for our clients. Alisa is a Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) as well as Multimedia Director, Business Administrator and CFO.
